You got your level from Fifa 12. However, weekly challenges are good (they start soon) playing online games, skill games to.

By the way, lost immediately after posting that. 1-0 against a player using the same team.

Might be in your e-mail if you got it by mail. But I don't even know how or where to put the code in. Only played it for like about two hours though and never really looked for it though.Danny wrote:Anyone know how to get the pre order bonus code then?

Re: FIFA 13
I got the retail version today and I really like it, first touch doesn't seem to be an issue offline (actually played a game with Rangers, first touches were fine/realistic and Templeton is quite the player ).
I really like the AI as well, I started playing on professional with normal speed and without any sliders and it does feel realistic, the CPU team actually pass the ball back for once and play pretty well-thought-out football imo. Will probably go world class if it gets too easy, can mess with the sliders as well if the CPU play too unrealistic
Haven't started CM yet, but it looks good from what I've seen so far. Only downside is not being able to turn off transfers until January and also Serie A not having 12 subs.
By the way, Cazorla is absolutely amazing for me as well, well worth the wait

Yeah it's strange, First touch offline is amazing pretty much how it should be. Online is a completely different game.

Re: FIFA 13
Sorry man, I'm just not having issues like you are. Haven't had much problem with headers in general, but some have been off badly. If you use the right amount of power heading is actually very nice. Haven't had the issues trapping the ball aside from the occasional hard bounce off the body, but that's marginal in my opinion. Overall I am still loving the physics improvements and control.Templeton7|RFC wrote:AriseForLife wrote:
I think it's stellar. First touch seems a lot more fluid than last year and more realistic. There are times it's off but not like ppl are making it out to be.
The point is though, you're using good players. When you're playing with bronze Rangers players, it's just not quite that easy.
Can't trap shit, can't direct headers etc, it's so overpowered, pretty much saying that no players under 20 can control a ball, that isn't Oscar or something.

Online v offline has always been different in EA games for years. It's most noticeable in games like FIFA and NCAA year after year.

I haven't experienced any of these problems, and I play with teams with players in the 60's. Are you guys sure you aren't holding down the sprint button when you receive the ball? That might affect it.

Played first Pro match, and play as RCB. My RB gets a red card in the 9th minute... We proceed to win 2-0, I the first goal off a corner and got MOTM. Hate how it just gives you a shit rating for doing nothing wrong though, was at like 9.5 at one point then it just started randomly going down all the way to 7.9.

Haha yeah.. think the rating system is a bit off once again.
Oh the ball doesn't run through me during every play? Go ahead and subtract .5
People on "drop-in" matches are such cunts though.. so many moronic and selfish players. Just stupid.
No your player will not have the attributes of Messi or Ronaldo.. please fucking stop. And just because you're near goal.. doesn't mean shoot.. plenty of options.

I spent most of one match just shaking my head. One idiot was at rightback and tried dribbling up the field every time he got the ball. In that match I didn't touch the ball in the second half. I was so pissed. Luckily my next game has some players who had actually passed.
Drop-in matches are either hit or miss for a deep-lying defensive midfielder from what I've experienced.

Re: FIFA 13
I only really ever play defender on drop-in matches (well tbh, I only really play defender period) because I can't stand the selfish assholes. Saw a guy shoot from about a foot away from the corner flag when he had like 3 people in the box to cross to.

Re: FIFA 13
Soo i haven't bought it yet, been busy with something else for a little, only football i've had is Ajax. But a guy i know that works for EA in California sent me a mail that he set up my Origin account with Fifa 13 Ultimate and Fifa Manager, so i thought i'd check the first one out as the 2nd isn't released yet. Playing "modern" fifa on a computer is wierd, specially since i do not have a controller for my computer, so have to use keyboard/ and mouse (only using keyboard is not an option since 09 apparently, you just can't control the player with 360 stuff)
However, it looks much better than it does on Playstation 3, graphics wise, the game play is the same though. I'll get it for PS3 maybe tomorrow or next week because i would have to buy several Xbox contollers (or cheap knockoffs, considering getting 1) to play with my friends on my computer, and when i already have 6 Playstation 3 controllers (I don't really have that many people come over and play sadly) that seems stupid.
So short of it. Fifa on PC is weird. Especially playing with the mouse.

Just got the game today, but I still haven't played a match.
@Che
I think whoever did the stat reviews for Santos confused Suarez and Quintero. Speed, and acceleration seem reversed. Chaton seems like he could be Chivas best player in the game with his 88 Stamina and 90 strength. Got nothing on Estrada's 97 stamina though

Re: FIFA 13
I think you are right in the Chaton regards. He feels the best out the team, he has high attack and defend so he seems to be everywhere at once. Arellano on the wing is really good too, I guess because Cubo is originally in that spot in the default line up they have him cut in a lot.
Marco Fabian is underwhelming unfortunately, but maybe because he plays deeper in the default line up than he would usually play and because Chaton as a work horse outshines him.
Actually the team as a whole is pretty good. Have only lost once with them and that was against another player using Guadalajara.
Haven't actually used Santos yet, but I expect them to be good. Estrada in ultimate team, at least, is incredible.

Took me an age to find clubs/how to edit VP after sifting through a load of crap. Clubs has definitely been put on the backburner
And now you can't use your VP outside of clubs to complete accomplishments
I would be really neato if we could customize the menu and bring the modes we frequently use to the front.
I used to get annoyed going through the FIFA 12 laggy menus after every game and every time somebody quit.
