Someone in my neighborhood sent their kid around to solicitize. She was selling tamales. She asked if I wanted any, of course I said yes. I ordered a dozen, and gave her my name. They'll charge me when I get them of course. But now that I think about it, the kid was like fucking 8, I hope she knows what a dozen is and doesn't bring me a thousand tamales tomorrow!

Been thinking about doing engineering in post-grad, but when my mind touches the thought of doing Physics again, it dies temporarily.

I could never take classes like that, man. Or well I could take them, but I'd probably flunk out.

I'm only good at things like the social sciences.

Sociology, Criminology, Women's Historology ect.

Pretty sure I'm going to fail miserably when I take my first real class.

I wish I had taken some more humanities classes over my undegraduate tenure. They're always very interesting.

I need your help. In Film Studies we are going to start writing an essay/presentation today and I need to think of a good topic that I can write about. I have 3 titles at the moment. What one should I pick?

1. Christopher Nolan's 'Anti-Hero' protagonists.
2. The rise and fall of M.Night Shyamalan.
3. Why 'Con-Air' (1997) is the greatest movie of all time.

The only one I can write about is the third one.

I miss all the old lot from work. Loads of staff have gone off to Uni now. The replacements are shut though, and there's a really camp gay guy and I fucking hate camp people

Number one for sure. That's very interesting. Borden and Angier from The Prestige are the clearest examples but Guy Pearce's character from Memento (a murderer) and Cobb from Inception(a criminal) can also be classed as traditional anti-heros. Hell, you could even argue that Bruce Wayne is an anti-hero, seeing as he's a vigilante who's taken the law into his hands.

Three is terrible. It's really difficult to argue it without getting very technical and I probably would be uncomfortable with that. Also, in what universe is Con-Air the greatest movie of all time anyway?

Two is probably the simplest but it's really boring. You should definitely go for one.

What's your major?

Derby fans are planning on doing a tribute chant to a fan of theirs who has just passed away, in their game with us next Sunday. He was 86 and had been to every game for thousands of years.

I hope our fans ruin their little tribute with sick chants. It's what they deserve.

Well that university is in downtown Toronto. Where it is pretty much a 50% asian populated city. And yeah, engineering is where you'll find a lot of them.
