Only 1 thing can be blamed for this, FSG. Not Rodgers fault that nobody in the team can finish, dominated the game and had plenty of chances. Woeful finishing.

Dominate possession, dominate chance creation. Then a couple unlucky bounces on their very first attack and we're down 1-0 and probably fucked.

Yes, the manager should be blamed when Liverpool have no strikers. How can he do with what he's got? He's not got anything.
The team has dominated in every aspect but have no strikers, therefore can't convert any of the chances they've had.

That chance is a perfect example, around 5 of them sprinting into the box vs 2-3? defenders and none of them can get on the end of it. No positional knowledge when it comes to inside the penalty area, not one of them made a reasonable enough attempt to get it, just stood and watched.
