. I would rather have stayed in our old ground then the new place we have. If you had the choice Mal would you rather be at Highbury?

Hmm, I see what people mean when they say there is no jobs about, this Topps Tiles one looks interesting, once I get over the fact dealing with the conversions in sizes etc, I could probably do that.
Guess the Orange one is fucked though, hmmm, would chuck my CV about a few places but the chance of that working is like stabbing in the dark, a bit desperate too.

It's hardly a problem.ShakerMatty wrote:Yeah thats a positive with them hardly ever showing football league games.Mal wrote:Kick off times aren't that bad. The majority of your games kick off 3pm Saturday anyway.
We had a Monday night game a few years ago and a Friday night but it wasn't actually too bad, I wouldn't want it a lot though like you have to put up with.
Its to do with rugby league which is where I'm coming from.

For the club's future, no. For me personally, yes. I try to avoid the Emirates unless it's a huge game. Just walking past Highbury makes me genuinely depressed.

Getting to Liverpool for 13:30 was quite annoying.

Having read 'I am the secret footballer', I don't think it's Dave Kitson.

Would you not rather have 3pm Saturday kick offs?

I went past our old ground the other week and it was gutwrenching.

Re: Chat Thread
If you go to games then nothing beats a 3pm kick off. Saturday's are awesome. Get up, watch Soccer AM. Get ready, watch a bit of the 12.45 game then head off to Forest. Go for a drink until about 2.15. Then go bookies, grab a bite to eat, and take to my seat with 5 minutes until kick off.
If you watch games on TV though, then 7.45 are my favourite kick off times

Tbh I can't see it getting me anywhere. Incredibly hard to find a career in it tbh, I would rather they just let me do English and Media but you need a third subject to meet the college minimum. So I'm currently thinking communications and culture, as it apparently is a good course to take if you are interested in journalism.Forest wrote:Reassuring to know, Bent.

Only problem is I won't be able to ask until Monday, but I can't do it Monday cause I have film studies and I'm not going into that to start coursework when I'll be leaving the class. Unless I just scive the lesson and see my tutor instead?

3pm seems like the worst, it's one of the reasons why I don't go to a lot of NFL games (1pm most times) Nothing beats a saturday night at 7:30.

I hate evening kick offs in the winter. Especially at places like West Ham, Wigan, Aston Villa, Sunderland. I dunno. Thats just me.
It makes me feel sleepy.

It did kinda 'ruin' the book for me cos in all of his anecdotes, I had Dave kitson in my head doing these things.
But yeah, he seems like a better player cos he talked of winning MOTM awards as well as player of the year (im assuming in his own team, not in the league.) and he mentions his medals.
