Sounds like some big brother shit.

Basically, legally, if you've got a TV you need to pay a license to watch it. About £150 a year. You can have unlimited Tv's in the house as long as it's 'open' and there aren't any other 'lockable' areas.

TV license basically funds the BBC so there's no adverts in their programming and such.

So if there was a lock on the other 3 rooms in my house with a TV, you'd need another license? shifty

That's so bizarre to me. Laughing

Don't think they do that over here, and I mean over here, everywhere over here. Like, no where in North America at least. Never heard about it being done in South America either.

This development is blowing my mind.

Each room needs a separate tenancy agreement. So if you were renting the room and it had a lock, yes.

@Che, it's not too bad tbh. It's been there since TV's were introduced so it makes no difference tbh.

If they tried introducing something like that here, they'd immediately be called commies.

I wouldn't mind something like that. Poor people wouldn't pay probably, then maybe their heads wouldn't be brainwashed by FOX.

I don't think I'll bother with a TV license at Uni. I hardly watch TV as it is, so the few things I do watch I can easily watch on demand through my PS3.

Can just go to a pub/bar for football too

Bale's facebook page (and a hundred other footballers that are managed by the same people) said this:
Cristiano Ronaldo denies money motivation - he doesn't want a new contract at Real Madrid! Read more: http://bit.ly/REQiQb [video]

Made me think that it meant Ronaldo didn't want to renew his contract with Madrid (i.e. He wants to move to a different club), but it means he isn't fishing for more money (i.e. Wanting a new contract with larger wages)

I just think of it like the Song situation. Has a few years left.. but unlike Song, isn't upset because of the money, and isn't asking for the contract to be renewed and wages upgraded.

It's not about the money, imo, and not about whether or not he wants to play for Madrid. Unless he's just getting bored of the league.

He's being a muppet is what he's doing. It's well documented he and Obama strongly dislike eachother, yet here is he spouting bullshit.

I'm a conservative and I'd take clinton's presidency 100% of the time over this scrub Obama.

Being a muppet how? This is politics, Clinton supporting Obama is mutually beneficial to both.
