Re: Liverpool V Arsenal - World War ONE
Just need Giroud to get one and all the new boys will have opened their Arsenal accounts.
I'm confident it'll come soon and he'll show how good he can be.

Arsenal played well in fairness. Great defensive performance.
Reina, Suarez, Gerrard, Borini all made me want to kill myself.

I kinda agree with this, although we were toothless and the lack of a striker is glaringDrew wrote:Liverpool weren't even that bad.. had plenty of chances to score also. A few pen shouts.. really nothing to worry about.

I'm still waiting for an orgasmic Cazorla one to show up.

Carroll should not be let back in the team.

Re: Liverpool V Arsenal - World War ONE
Fantastic performance. Three games now where the teams in front of us never really looked like scoring, never thought I'd see the day. Jenkinson was really good today, he's come a really long way since last year. Rest of the defence was very solid as well (although Gibbs was a bit of a worry at times). Arteta is magnificent and if Diaby puts in as good a shift as he did today throughout the season, our midfield will be fine. Cazorla is just sensational. Podolski worked really hard today and took his goal very well. Giroud, at the moment, is doing well with his runs but wasn't as involved as I hoped he'd be. Slight concern with Mannone, he's absolutely abysmal at collecting the ball when it's in the air but he won't play too often this year so long term that shouldn't be a problem

Arsenal's midfield were great. I thought Chamberlain's tracking back was good, Podolski as well.

seems like the new Arsenal dude is doing some good work on the defence....needs to sort Gibbs out though.

Gibbs had one of his best games for us yet and he'll only improve.El_indian wrote:seems like the new Arsenal dude is doing some good work on the defence....needs to sort Gibbs out though.

Hardly world war one, a brief skirmish if anything.

I'm not too surprised, there weren't any dodgy penalties given, no leg breaking tackles and the the team that deserved to win, did.

You guys shouldn't have seen Scott on Skype, chatting so much shit. He would have instigated a full scale war.
