Can't be such a small number. A 4x4 square gives you 16 1x1 squares. The two in the middle plus the four each is made up of individually adds 10 to that. That alone is 26. Then you have to count the possible variations of 2x2 and 3x3 squares as well as the one big one. The four obvious 2x2's and the big one brings the count up to 31.

I was just asking since I tried to do the question mathematically and wondered if you had a concrete answer.

That's just the phrase they use when your TV goes kapoot I thought lightning had hit it and it wouldn't turn on for ages, tried it in several different plugs and nothing happened. Tried it again a bit later and it came back on
