Registration should be open..

There are people who want to join this site and now the football season has started it should be open.

Before anyone complains that people who are banned will make new accounts.. well what do we have all these fucking moderators for? That's their job to spot and delete dupe accounts I believe.

This forum is currently like a sandbox and needs to grow.

The forum has been open for 2 years. We have had about 12 members that are not from EA or not some type of dupe. Worth opening registration? No.

I would personally feel better if it remained closed.

If there's specific people you want on the forum then I'm sure registration could be opened for a few minutes while they sign up.

1. We'll most likely get RR, Mauro, Glen, Leo, Mason etc. back the second it is open with a dupe account.

2. Any new member will be butchered to death by most people here and be made fun of, just like it always is. They will be driven out.

Isn't there a feature for admins that lets you choose who to confirm as new members? Like find out what they're going to call their accounts and just verify them or something?

There is, but they never check it so even if legit people join they can't post.

there is, and infact today Zzonked put the setting on to this to allow a new member to join, he is now signed up under the username Tom.
