I totally agree that the latest squad is total bullshit! im not saying Dann or Johnson are good enough for England but they are certainly more worthy of a place than Smalling - who in his few games for united has looked nothing more than ordinary. Micah Richards inclusion is laughable also!
Jordan Henderson! i dunno what to say about this. i dont watch Sunderland every week but he hasnt caught my eye at all - perhaps thats a good thing as players in the spotlight are often over hyped by the media before a call up.
while i can appreciate the merits of every winger called up ahead of Matt Jarvis, this is a friendly which should be used to evaluate fringe players, and Jarvo is on fire at the moment - in Chris Smallings case, he is the wrong fringe player!
Jay Bothroyd, i feel qualified to pass judgement on Jay. i know his form has never been better than it is now but during his time at Wolves he was lazy with the occasional glimpse of brilliance, he is not a better striker than Sylvan Ebanks Blake who is scoring at a steady rate off the bench in the PL. again i am not suggesting SEB is good enough for England but he'd be a better bet than Bothroyd, although what with Jay being a "Billy Big Bollocks" playing in the second tier, driving his Bentley to training he'd probably fit in with the rest of Englands wankers alot better than our SEB!
in summary, i get the feeling that Capello is angling for the sack and a big payout!
calling up Andy Carroll is the right thing to do, again im not sure that hes good enough for England, in fact im pretty sure he isnt. but this is the right time to find out! Carlton Cole isnt good enough either and Bothroyd has only been called up because of an injury crisis. perhaps Wolves' playes are better off away from Capello's England anyway.

He's played 8 games for us and in his last 4 or 5 he's been fucking quality.
Though I do think it's a bit early for him, if he did get on and make a mistake, people would be all over him, and it wont be good for him.

I clearly said he's not ready and they're better and should be in the squad ahead of him already, I just think you're underrating Smalling this season when called upon he's been really good recently.
