He will. Our expected lineup is:

    Szczesny
    Jenkinson Mertesacker Vermaelen Gibbs
    Diaby Arteta
    Walcott Cazorla Gervinho
    Podolski

It would be more interesting to see Podolski play a central role, unless he does acctually get involved alot from the left. Even as a United fan ive been waiting to see him play

Mate after a night of heavy drinking your sig+avatar combo is making me feel nauseous Razz

Podolski played centrally against Koln and to be honest he was pretty good, I would like to see him there, but at the same time Giroud has his part to play. Podolski was very quiet on the left during that game though, just like at the Euro's where he was relatively quiet

He'll start off on the left when everyone's fit and when he started off there against Koln, he was everywhere, certainly less restricted than when playing for Germany.

No he started on the left with Cazorla in the centre, Walcott on the right and Giroud up top. He certainly wasn't quiet in the first half and he even started and finished the 3rd goal. Only early on in the 2nd half did he play up top before he got subbed.

Diaby's a good player and would have been quality player for us if not for his injuries.

I agree, Diaby is relatively impressive every time he plays. Of course he is fresh from injury every time, so it's always nice to see him back and that might affect how we see his performances. If his body wasn't made of glass would be interesting to see if our squad would be different, e.g we might have never signed Arteta

Diaby would be one of the best midfielders in the Premier League if it weren't for injuries.

I really can see Podolski doing a Van Persie-esque job in this one, I'll go 2-1 - Podolski and Arteta for Arsenal.
