Watched Rounders, it's not great. John Malkovich produces possibly the worst Russian accent I've ever heard on film though.

Eastern Promises 9/10. Best portrayal I've seen yet of Russian mobsters. Viggo Mortensen was brilliant, brilliant enough to stop making me think Aragorn for the duration of the film. Naomi Watts is hot. And a Game of thrones fellow, always a plus.

Viggo is a brilliant actor.

He is. I've been mistaken enough to assume that his lack of star status after the LOTR films was due to a lack of acting skills. I've never been a good judge of that. Especially when you have 'stars' like this guy:
Might watch 'A history of violence' and 'The Road' soon, see more of Aragorn.

Bourne Legacy - 8/10. Not just a cash-grabbing sequel, was really enjoyable.

Expendables 2 7/10 quite good, you should watch it tongue in cheek, some of the lines they come out with are great

The plot was a little confusing. Kate Beckinsale was it's redeeming factor.

I only saw The Dark Knight Rises today. It was absolutely tremendous.

Oh.
I've seen it twice now. If you think a movie is tremendous, it must be.

I'm biased though because I really do love this series and I admire what it tries to do. It's changed the rules for both summer blockbusters and superhero movies. I thought I really liked The Avengers until I saw this. I still think The Avengers was good but the Batman films are just different class. The scope of the films, the themes they examine, the richness of each character; just quality storytelling at its very best.
And that ending has also left me on such a high so that may be clouding my judgement ever so slightly. Will definitely see it at least one more time in theaters.

TDKR - Saw it again and just confirms for me that it is the best of the trilogy.
Ted 8/10 - Quite funny in parts, much like a full length episode of Family Guy for better and worse.
The Muppets 8/10 - Awesome and happy movie. The best since Jim Henson's death.
