Who is going to get the armband for Spurs? Who usually gets it when he's injured? Parker?

He's been very unlucky with injures for a number of years, a great defender on his day. Sad to see him retire.

King was a fantastic defender. He had many brilliant performances when he was carrying injures. Fighter.

Michael Dawson's the vice-captain, according to Wiki.Jorlung wrote:Who is going to get the armband for Spurs? Who usually gets it when he's injured? Parker?
New manager though, who knows.

Re: Ledley King retires.
First of all best wishes to Ledley, he has been a great loyal player over the years, something that hardly exists in the game anymore. If not for all the injuries who knows how good he could have been?
Secondly, we are hardly fucked without him, Kaboul and Vertonghen are good, Gallas and Dawson are kinda slow and shitty but okay I guess and Caulker hopefully gets a shot this year with the first team.
As for the captain's band dilemma I certainly hope it isn't Dawson because that would mean he would most likely be on the pitch alot. I wanna make someone young like Bale or Walker captain but it will most likely be Parker, which I don't really have a problem with.

If he was Spanish you'd probably have wanked over him.

Re: Ledley King retires.
Him and Woodgate could have been the best CB partnership in England if it wasn't for injuries, probably 2 of the unluckiest guys in football.

I'd forgot all about Woodgate. Seems to move to different clubs regularly and never play.
Neither are as good as Ferdinand though.

the year we actually qualified for the CL Dawson and King were both superb and were a huge reason we got there. Ever since then both have struggled for fitness and form.

I saw a meme that said "17 years of playing, 8 yellow cards, 0 red cards. Respect". I thought to myself, he barely played.

At least we didn't sign him back from Notts County and start him at age 33. We weren't quite that desperate.
