Then shut the fuck up and stop arguing with people...

Besides I said in the Arsenal thread I want him to play as a winger, nobody else mentioned it really and I stand by it. I'll happily admit he's better centrally though.

2 top 4 finishes in how many years does not make em a top 4 side.. hence midtable(ish).. ish meaning higher then midtable but lower then top 4

Three top four finishes, you mong (one of which was a second place finish), and the rest of the years between 2004 and 2010 they qualified for the Europa League. So they were never a mid-table team.

And Real Madrid have been consistently interested in him. This year they had a poll on Marca where they asked Real Madrid fans who they would rather have; Modric or Cazorla, and Cazorla won by a landslide. But I'm guessing you know better than them despite having rarely watched Malaga.

have you seen who iniesta plays with?

he is already at a top club. amazing players at midtable or higher should and would be expected to shine more

the funny thing is people talking about cazorla here have seen him far less then i have. i am no expert on him but through many sources (some live games, some revista la liga highlights/talks) i have gathered my view. where have the arsenal fans gathered them?

Fine, let's pretend that your reasoning here is valid. What about David Silva? He's only ever scored 10 goals in a season on one occasion (one more than Cazorla's highest total, by the way). Is he not a big team player either?

1st of all his highest is 13 goals, another with 10 and the other 9 (in a injury hit season)

2nd of all Valencia are a far better club then villareal will ever be. they had the likes of villa who silva assisted alot

3rd of all he only had 4 proper years in spain, cazorla 8 years. cazorla also has a season with ZERO goals in a season

    1) Source? I'm using Wikipedia and it says his highest is 10. I acknowledge that it might be wrong so I'd be glad if you showed where you got your stats from.

    2) No, Valencia were not a far better team than Villarreal at any point.

    3) The season Cazorla got zero goals was when he was 20/21 and he was only involved in 25 games (no idea how many of the appearances were off the bench) so that isn't indicative of much.

More so to the point, both have a career total of 52 goals with Cazorla being a year older but having also had to frequently play deeper than David Silva.

So what exactly was your point?

    1) oops i was looking at assists lol Neutral

    2) at any point?? not even when they won the league 2 years in a row?

    3) 21 is not that young, he shouldnt be having goalless seasons

    4) my point is for someone that would improve man utd (discussion going on here) and plays in an attacking position you would expect more goals.

Silva, however similar the stats are was also bought at a younger age cause he was far more promising then cazorla ever was.

    2) I meant at any point when Silva was there.

    3) It's quite young, and he would have struggled even more due to the fact that he was only infrequently in the side.

    4) Not necessarily. What makes him a great player is his ability to control games, not his high goal or assist tally. He's not as direct as Mata or Silva which is why he doesn't rack as many goals and assists. I know that's going to be difficult for you to understand since there isn't a simplistic way of measuring his ability to control games but there you go.

And Cazorla was very promising when he was younger but opted to stay at Villarreal.

What we need is a dominant midfield, but apparently we aren't really interested in anyone like that, so RVP would be a nice consolation price.

It is the Manchester Evening News who started this rumour but don't brush it off yet. I think if he leaves it will be to sign for United. He's still in Germany now so we'll see if he's there for the game on Sunday, that'll tell us.
