As pre-season training is well underway for all teams now and pre-season friendlies upon us, even if it's the team you support, or the team you play for, discuss any pre-season friendlies here.

Going to Hinckley away today, first friendly of the summer.

4 new signings and a couple of trialists should be playing

I've never really thought of it like that, because we only play each other in pre-season and there was no rivalry ever because we were a created club for the national league but I guess it is

Markus Liebherr Memorial Cup this evening, vs Arsenal and Anderlecht. Three games of 45 minutes each, so hopefully er get to see some of our new boys.

Then we have a training camp in France in which we play Etoile and Evian Thonon.

They've been around for awhile, they've always been a state/city league club, we were a created club for the national league so yeah

Odd, can't see the Ajax date on the webpage, however it is on the Southhampton webpage, 3 days before we supposedly play Norwich City just ahead of the Super Cup.

Most of the time you don't play friendlies against teams in your league.

Burscough 1-1 Everton. For a youth/reserve team of a Premier League club, they weren't very good.

anyway, I am seeing Tottenham play the New York Red Bulls at the endof this month, I wanna see them play Liverpool in Baltimore as well but I don't have any cash

Nice one. A mix of youth development and new signings, both doing well, nice to see.

Limavaday Utd 1-1 Coleraine

I was expecting us to win this one. We seemed to play well in the first half, but poorly in the second half, a trademark of ours last season. Although I wasn't at the game, I'm just going from the match report. Mark Gillan sounds like a decent prospect though.

Although none of these teams have been rivals of Rangers until right now so I think it would still make sense to schedule friendlies with someone in the same league.

Let's be honest, if Rangers manage to keep half their squad they'll trounce the fucking thing.

Still, Ally McCoist and his staff aren't morons. It's not as if they'll turn up to every game with no idea what to expect. You don't see teams who've never been in the Premier League arranging tons of friendlies against United, Arsenal etc...
