Should the Third Place Playoff Be Brought Back?

The European Championships haven't had a third place playoff since 1980 when Czechoslovakia beat Italy 9-8 on penalties in one of the most boring matches ever. The World Cup still has one though. I think it's one more match to look forward to, and it's nice to see who finished third. The one between Germany and Uruguay in the last World Cup was one of the best matches of that tournament too. What do you think?

No, having a 3rd place play-off in a cup competition is slightly perverse anyway. The two best teams can be drawn together in one semi and two shit, lucky teams can be drawn in the other - by formalising 3rd place you are formalising that one of the shit teams finishes "above" one of the best teams in the tournament.

Besides that, no-one really gives a fuck about the match.

Yes, I would like to see a third place match at the Euros.

Partly yes because it would be an extra game to watch and usually at the WC that game is good because both teams play very attacking.
