I might be moving to Egypt. How do I access US-only sites from abroad (i.e. Netflix and that shit). I cam across VPN from Hide My Ass, which is a paid subscription. Anyone else know of a solution (preferably free)?

A proxy server might work. Ed said something about the browser "Opera" allowing you to use a different IP somehow, but I never figured it out.

I downloaded Opera, but never used it. So let me try it out. Thanks anyways.

Again, you will have to look into the IP part of it. I never figured it out, but Ed says that he used it a while ago. You could ask him, I guess.

@Che: It may be a narcissistic suggestion from Pele, but I like it for some reason. Pity FIFA won't let it go through. Apparently there's a rule against mascots being based on people who are still alive.

Yeah, I read about that rule. Kinda weird, it would make more sense if it can't be based on any specific person not just an alive one.

When we need to close on a quota at my work, the supervisors offer extra pay to whoever gets the last people. Too bad its completely luck based.

No, I work for some market research company. I call people and try to get them to do a survey. I got lucky and got two completes in an hour, so my supervisor said they'd add an extra 15 minutes on my timesheet since I was being so productive, but then later when they were on the last two, the offered 30 minutes extra to whoever got it. And of course I couldn't get anyone who'd stay on the line then
