If you were a Spurs fan like myself, who would you like to see Spurs hire?

Capello is the best manager from that list.

But in terms of Levys plan, of building for future, not just with the players but staff as well, would it be best to hire someone who is 65? When you can get managers around his capabilities at a younger age?

First of all, none of those managers are close to the ability of Capello.
Second, I don't know how far you're thinking ahead here, but if you hire someone like Benitez, Martinez, Boas or Klinsmann you'll probably be firing him after a couple of years anyway. If I were a Spurs fan I would much rather appoint Capello for the rest of his career, 3 years maybe, and think about what happens in 2015 in 2015, rather than appoint Benitez with a Five Year Plan that gets abandoned after 2.

Ah I see, fair point.

Capello is by far the best manager available at the moment.

Kuled do you just go around repeating what's already been said in threads?

I have the same opinion. Doesn't mean I'm copying anyone. Besides, I've been saying they should get him since Redknapp was sacked.Bogdan wrote:Kuled do you just go around repeating what's already been said in threads?

Yes, however I shall never return to White hart Lane after my terrible experiences of that place.

May I ask what these experiences were?

Your comment is nearly identical to RR's, even if you shared his opinion, you don't need to word it the same.
You go around in every thread spouting some random one liner.

I don't really care to be honest. I know I wasn't copying RR.

Kuled, if you go around in every thread copying my posts your standard of post will increase dramatically, I think this is a big step for you.

They should get Benitez. Hopefully they are another club that believes they are above him. Like Aston Villa..
Guest- Guest
ofcourse Guardiola
AVB would be superb, he is a shit manager but he is a attacking manager! without him we would not have had such entertaining "big matches" early on in the season

Is Benitez beneath Liverpool as well?

I'm not sure what you're getting at. Liverpool dumped Benitez in 2010 and have ignored his advances twice to appoint other managers. Are the situations different?

Of course they are, you're an intelligent fellow. I'm sure you'll be able to work it out if you give it enough thought.
For now though, goodbye.

I really want to see AVB succeed but it seems the media have it in for him, I can seee things going tits up and him being absolutely slaughtered by the media in no time. Laurent Blanc is someone whos name has come up a few times but he's not an option on this poll, Im not certain he's a realistic target but who knows.
