Re: EURO 2012 Thread
I think that the semifinals will be
France 3-2 Holland
Spain 2-2 Germany (Wins on penalties)
so the final will be France - Germany
with Germany winning it 2-1.
I don't want it to go like this but for some reason I feel like it will go this way

If Poland wins some banned individual will certainly try to hack the message boards.

If Poland do well he should be unbanned simply for the entertainment factor

Polska was a lot better poster than many of the trolls still around here.
I also cannot wait for this to start.
I am anxious to see how good France is. How have they turned it around so quickly after that disastrous World Cup?

They have always been a good team, they just needed a competent manager.

To be honest I could see you guys challenging for 2nd in almost every group but yours.Muhkoo wrote:Jorlung wrote:Feel bad for Denmark lol
We could pretty much only expect to be the underdog in every group except A. Regardless Portugal is maybe overrated, they are not a very good team despite having great players.
Also we are setting a record for the highest Fifa ranks in 1 group
Here 2 days before the tournament #3 Germany #4 Netherlands #9 Denmark #10 Portugal (see how bad they are? They were 5th last month)

Spain and Italy. France and England. Maybe Russia (they are so so, challenge for 1st in group A i would say)
If we have to look at it "on paper" as they say. Those 5(4) should beat us 8 or 9 times our of 10.
Something i found funny
Even if we should lose all our matches each player is guaranteed a £80k squad bonus (Don't know how that is compared to other FA's we have a relatively big but very stupid one). Nicklas Bendtner laughed this off saying he would play for the national team for free, he makes the bonus in 5-6 weeks. Jores Okore is the youngest player in the squad (although capped unlike K. Schmeichel) and just a little over a year ago he was still on a youth contract and is now on a "senior" contract in the recent danish Championship club FC Nordsjælland. He barely makes the same as the bonus in a year. He would like to put it with his savings, maybe a few gifts for his family when he gets home.

Jermain Defoe's returned to England because his father's passed away. Returning to the squad in "due course."

Just heard about Dutch team threatening to walk out of #Euro2012 after black players taunted during training session. Oh dear... @pedrocnn
