Carroll or Davies?

For an England call up. If you could pick 1 which 1 would it be?


Personally i'd choose Carroll cos despite Davies being good atm he really is getting on a bit and will he be around for the Euros(in the form he is in now)

Only downside to Carroll is outside of football, shouldn't matter too much though. Rio did drugs, Gerrard knocked out a dj, Terry banged every moving thing, Rooney been at it with grannys amongst others.


Carroll + Agbonlahor is the the Euro front 2 Fuck Rooney he can play just behind them both.

Gotta say, Walcott looks like he has been practicing his finishing.

England should be getting ready for the euros. Also Fabio needs to man up and start benching the players you fuck up outside of football regardless of who they are. England don't want another rerun of the world cup.

but carrol should be getting more games if he keeps form. He looks like quite the prospect.

With Capello in charge the line up will never be as fresh as any of you are suggesting.

I may be sounding biased but there is no way Gabby should be in the England team, the guy is like Jerome in that alls he has is pace and he needs about 10 chances to score. He is only lethal against us

I would also pick Davies purely because he isnt off his head like Carroll

He is way better with his feet than Carroll and easily as good in the air. See him knock the ball down to Petrov against Spurs? Its what he does best aswell as his great finishing ability.

I'd rather have Kevin Davies to be honest.

Bring them both but let Carroll start. It's probably too soon to say, though.

The options of Lennon, Walcott, Young, Johnson, Carroll, Bent and Defoe are great ones to have. I hope Fabio picks at least 3 of those for every game.

Rooney is pretty quick too, so plenty of pace in that attack. We'll probably still find a way to play slow boring football though.

People underestimating Carrol's pace is a joke. The guy can move much faster than Crouch, Zigic, Bendnter and all them other strikers in that height category.

The 2 i bolded are the same thing, and being faster than the players you bolded is not an achievement. Diaby is massive but hes actually fast, if Carroll had his kind of pace it might be worth mentioning.

We need the best players on the pitch now, not who might be a good striker in the future. Davies is far more rounded than Carroll.
