I got 4th in my first season (which would normally be considered good in real life) and I got sacked at the end of the season, and then got replaced by Tony Pulis.

ok this is looking bad, i'm losing €4m/month with schalke

player wages are too high. i really hope i can afford to keep the likes of raul and huntelaar next season =[. i might even have to sacrifice jurado during the winter transfer window to cut my wage expenses

i've never seen finances this bad. when i saw it in september i thought it was an anomaly. when i saw it again it october, i took it more seriously. starting to scout players now to buy in the winter to replace the likes of jurado, metzelder, and jermaine jones

i usually don't like overhauling my squad mid-season but i might have to make an exception in this case. otherwise, i'll be in serious trouble in the summer. i just wish it was easier to find out if a player is cup tied

in FM10 i made the mistake of signing 4 key players during winter transfers and they ended up being cup tied for the rest of the season

i didn't even buy any players during the initial transfer window

So why are you losing so much money?

because i didn't sell anyone during the initial transfer window either lol...

I don't see why I bother with youth contracts. I never play for more than a couple seasons.

In my Southampton save, I poached a wonder kid regen in my second season and he was good enough to be a star player for my first team by the fourth season. It feels good to promote a youth player to your first team.

i convinced the board to expand my stadium

i have the highest average attendance% in Bundesliga at 100% and i've had 4 stadium sellouts in 8 league games. hopefully that will boost my income
