Fifa Superstars (iPhone game)

I hope that rather than changing the ratings they'll just add in different versions of players, like in fifa ultimate team.

I did notice looking at the previous link (the one for current ratings / positions) a bit more carefully that some of the ratings and positions were wrong for the iPhone game so maybe is based on the whole FIFA 2012 game or the Facebook version of FIFA Superstars. For example Iniesta was listed as a midfielder instead of striker and Modric was listed as 88 instead of 86 etc... Still glad to see the list though as it's helpful

This player database was created for fifa 12 so like I said before, its not 100% accurate. But it does give you a general idea of which players are most likely to go up or down.

Is there anything I can do about the length of each game or is it completely random???? Recently I've had an overwhelming majority of games that only have 2-4 shots the entire game and I draw many games 0-0.

Maybe put your mentality on attacking?

Got another gold pack that was full of trash.

Got something like 49 points from 18 games in La Liga, somehow isn't considered a "pro league". Cheers EA.

When you use defensive mentality the game speeds up quite a bit, also speeds up depending on your formation. Hence I use a more attacking 3-4-3 formation with neutral to attack mentality. It makes a difference and you'd want to slow down the game to get more chance to score. The only time when I wanted to shorten the game was when I was going against Barca or Real and I had a poor team, then I might sneak a victory in.

Same here, though I have 120 platinum players at this point, one extra platinum player is not going to make a difference, the only reason I would still buy gold packs is to collect all the players on Bayern, Barca or AC Milan (my favorite teams). Not sure if others have seen the same pattern, but I would not get any platinum players from gold transfers for a quite a while and then I would buy a couple of platinum transfers and only then would I get the platinum players from gold transfers again.

Wow I just lost 3-0 against Swansea... My team's rating is 84 how did I lose that...

What's the best promotion they've offered so far? The 2 85+ Spanish Players offer and the 2 85+ UK players seemed worthwhile. Were there any other really good offers?

I bought 6 85+ UK player by using 1500 premiun cash. So much money... T_T.

And I got Gerrard 87, Lampard 87, Terry 86, Rio Fedinand 87, A.Young 85 and A.Cole 85. So many DF and have no luck to get Rooney. So sad.

After playing two Elite PL season with this 6 Ultimate Players. I won 4 platimun transfer and I am so lucky to got Walcott (82), G.Jonhson (80), Thomas Muller(82), and Fernando Llorente (83). And also got a GK Szczęsny(79).

My superstar team rating are 84 now, with

Llorente, Chamakh, Walcott

Gerrard, Lampard, Young, Podolski

Terry, Fedinand, A.Cole
Szczęsny

Actually how do u all choose the player position? Just let the system choose the best superstar players n arrange itself or u put the player in their favourite position? The system will arrange the player according to their rating from left to right.

Choose the formation and let computer automatically choose the players to fill in your formation.

I place them in the position I think they are most appropriate for eg. I would put Ashley Cole as left back instead of central defence. I doubt it makes any difference though (assuming you aren't playing a midfielder as a striker or anyone else out of position for example)

Welcome! You have nice BPL team, I wish I had a good English keeper. Hart should really be rated higher in this game. If only they allowed trading, I've got Valdes just sitting on the bench (because I have Casillas) and I'd definitely give him to you...

I bought 10+ platinum pack but have no luck to get an Ultimate player.

You're correct.

It takes a long time to get the players you want though, so hopefully I'll still have some work to do in the game.

Everyone is platinum apart from Ledesma. Hopefully I can get an ultimate sooner rather than later.

Yes I also have gomes as a sub, so valdes for hart would be a good trade if we could do it.

Hey there - I guess if they update the game and thus move the players from different clubs / leagues to their current ones then they will most likely update the ratings too. I totally understand where you're coming from though as it is rather annoying if you paid real money for someone to get downgraded. I'm not sure how many of you guys looked at the link that bearofhonor posted but it was a suggestion for the new ratings for the game (already acknowledged that it is not 100% accurate) but it is probably pretty close to right. I have copied and pasted it below for reference in case you are interested:

The most annoying would surely be if you bought 2 x UK 85+ players and got Ferdinand (87) and Lampard (87) if the suggested future ratings are correct as you will lose 3 rating from each! 84 + 84 and neither of them would get in my EPL Elite team then as I have Young (85) and Evra (85) on the bench!

However I would say that I disagree with the above comment suggesting it would be better to have multiple versions of players as it would be strange if you can get 2 x Lampard or Ferdinand (or anyone else) and have them both playing in your team! I think there can only ever be 1 version of each player or there would be too many clone players with higher / lower ratings so I think if they update it then they have to change the ratings of existing players rather than introduce a different version of each player with a rating change. Just my opinion though!
