Villa need a manager with a big name. Rafa would be ideal, but also very unlikely.
Di Matteo would be another good shout (if he doesn't get the Chelsea job).

Yep this is true, in a few games he has played a defence full of Centre Backs with the exception of Alan Hutton and he has also played Stephen Warnock on the Left-Wing who is a Left-Back.

Worst team in the Premier League now that Wolves have been relegated. Just an awful team who have absolutely no distinctive footballing style. Barely capable of stringing more than two passes together. McLeish is a terrible manager anyway but Aston Villa's squad is horrendous. It would be a step down for Martinez if he left Wigan for Villa. The Wigan squad has so much more talent.

Don't know why they got him in the first place , Brum were always shit and defensive last season and it just continued into Villa this one.

Take out N'Zogbia, Bent and Given and they are a Championship team. McLeish did well to keep them up, although he's a shit manager too. Should never of got rid of Houllier

No way is Villa's squad worse then the teams that got relegated. McLeish sucked. Why sign a manager who just got a club relegated?
