I played in a football tournament cup and really badly hurt my ankle on the 16th April due to someone putting in a hard tackle and stamping down on my ankle and I fell as my ankle was planted on the ground, a sprained ankle Grade 1.
Since then it has hurt, but I played football 2 weeks ago and it was fine.
I played last week and kicked the ball funny and hurt it again.
I have a football match tomorrow and it is fine to run on but if I put my metatarsals on the floor and pivot I can feel pain when I lean forward and slightly to the right.
I really want to play tomorrow and have an ankle protector, one of those blue socks.
Should I play? What will happen if I further damage it?
Does anybody know of any sprays or tablets than could 'numb' my ankle for tomorrow?
