Play on peaceful mode?

How do i go about doing that?

When you load your game, a screen should come up with the options 'Online game' and 'Invite only'. Below that you should be able to select your difficulty. Peaceful (no monsters) is the one before easy.

Started a little project to make a little town with a big wall around it, get a farm going and stuff. It's taking forever though, I'm having to level off a big area and basically dig out two hills. -.-

Nope, don't know.

My mate came over and we made my little castle/village thing as much as we could. It's getting there, the walls are up, just need to dig out the surrounding area a bit so monsters can't jump the wall.
