Even so, that's not a red card offence, at worst it's a yellow card, maybe a caution.

I'd like to see the referee's explanation before making a ridiculous judgement like "He is a racist" or "He is a wanker". Maybe the crowd are very racist and he was trying to incite them by highlighting the colour of his skin, that could cause a riot. Maybe it was an "Up yours" gesture a la Ronaldo to Martinez last week.
