Of course you are, Sir Dagbon.Bogdan wrote:I'm sure City will draw one of their remaining fixtures.

Yeah, 10 goals difference that game made, behind by 7, though we did take apart a poor Arsenal side to be fair.Glen Damon wrote:That Johnny Evans red card is looking even more costly by the minute.kyro7 wrote:Losing the title on GD must feel really bad, I wonder if we're going to have to experience that, generating the exact same number of points as a team and losing the title, crazy to think about.

I wish I could moan about being joint top of the League with 2 games to go.

And Grimsby fans wish they could moan about being in the Premier and Europa Leagues having owners who will give them millions of pounds every year for transfers, it didn't stop you bitching about Hicks and Gillet.

That's true. Doesn't mean I can't wish I was in United's position though.

You'll probably win the FA Cup final at least.

I'd like to think so, but Chelsea are in form.
Champions League and FA Cup double for them, sadly.

Try losing it in the last minute of the final game, and losing it only by goals scored.

Last 4 performances have been so poor apart from the Villa game. What's missing? A leader. We needed Vidic so much.

It's stupid that GD is the first tie-breaker anyway. Head-to-head should be the first tie-breaker. I think it is in pretty much every other major European league. It's certainly a fairer assessment of which team deserves the nod. So you can rest assured that even if you do lose on goal differential, you also would have lost on head-to-head. Either way...

I am deeply frustrated with Ferguson's behaviour, I needed a venue to express that frustration. If City fuck up the title from here that's their lookout, it's not something that Ferguson's responsible for, nor is it something he deserves any credit for.
League titles are won over the course of 38 games; not the last 2. If his team earns the more points than everybody else from those 38, he deserves his share of the credit.

I think they do it by head to head in the La Liga.

This just highlights the absurdity of the way we credit managers and players. If Manchester City don't drop points to Newcastle United, does that make Ferguson a worse manager than if they did? Of course not.

It's not bottling, we lost because Manchester City have a better team than us. It's a fucking disgrace the way Ferguson has let this team slide.

It's not Ferguson's fault that the team decided to go amateur in the last 7 minutes against Everton. That's the game we'll look back on if we do lose the title.

I thought Ferguson was supposed to a master motivator whose experience would prevent any amateur mistakes. It's easy to be a great manager when everything bad that happens you are absolved of responsibility and everything good that happens is down to your tactics or motivation.
Can you defend the midfield policy we've pursued in the last 3 or 4 years?

WTf you on about, fergie is not out there, he cant motivate in the middle of a half lol.. he sent them out after half timeand we went 4-2 ahead, after that its up to the players to be smart and see it out. if we had vidic out there we would have won
you say "oh when things go bad you blame someone else but when things go well you praise fergie"... well you are the exact opposite, you do the same thing

You'd expect a team with this experience in this time of the run in to see out a 2 goal lead at home

Buck stops with him, he buys the players, he send them out there, he takes the credit whenever they do well.

I've still not quite come to grips with how we drew against Everton. Not entirely sure how that happened, looked so comfortable, title looking pretty secure, and then as by a gust of wind, Everton hit back.
