Same with Crouch then.

Re: Chelsea Vs. Newcastle United
I feel like Crouch & Cisse's were just hit and hope efforts that came off. Suarez's goal was just obnoxiously unnecessary. I would sooner give the coveted award to Coates' effort against Queens Park Rangers Football Club. A necessary effort, but still a very deliberate and beautiful effort that made the gods cry tears of football.

Glad someone agrees that Crouch's was just a scuffed effort.

Crouch was luck, Cisses was just skill.

Mata's goal against the mancs was great and Ben Arfa's against Bolton.

Strange feeling when I realised it hadn't actually gone high and wide.

The more I watch it.. the more I try to understand why he would just kick the shit out of it.. why he would take it off the side of his foot like that..
I have to give him more credit than I originally had.

He could have been trying to switch the field to Obertan, or something.SBSP wrote:WTF? Why would he meant to not shoot at goal?Fonseca wrote:

Re: Chelsea Vs. Newcastle United
Plenty of shots go way wide of goal during shot attempts. Does that mean they meant to just kick the shit out of it?
Has Ronaldo just been trolling us for the past 10 years?

The commentator did constantly repeat that he meant it, but surely not.

I'm not really sure what Fonseca's trying to say. Can someone explain?

Re: Chelsea Vs. Newcastle United
No sign of Sean or Luke?
Glad they lost their game before the final though. At least we fielded a joke of a team vs Fulham and didn't play the likes of Suarez, Gerrard, Agger, Johnson, etc. Chelsea's strongest players all played a part in that match, hopefully it'll put them on a downer.
Not getting my hopes up though.

Should be fined for doing that, teams in the past have.
Chelsea 2/3-1 Liverpool imo. Would love to see Torres grabbing a goal, or more.
... In every game that is.

I said that in the Liverpool thread, but apparently the rule has been abolished.
