And surprising wellm unfortunately. No one seems to care as it's come to be expected this season. We had a terrible terrible season. Didn't qualify for the playoffs and got humiliated in Libertadores. Lost the Classico too.

Worst thing about having such a bad season is that we shouldn't have had such a bad season. We still have a really good side(except we don't have a goal scoring striker, but that's been pretty much the case since Hernandez left, and was also a problem before his break out season.)

And at times we play extremely well too but we still manage to lose. It's pretty frustrating.

Guess Cubo is still developing then.

Yeah, he holds up the ball well and brings other into space but I don't know if he'll ever become a goal machine. Also his age is evident. Makes some really stupid tackles and gets carded a lot. Was in the middle of a controversy not to long ago for diving. Although I suspect not many watched the incident because he didn't actually dive. The penalty that was given was a penalty. It's just that after the penalty he milked an injury and was time wasting. I think that confused a lot of people when they read it in the papers and made them think he dove for the penalty. So he's been labled a diver recently and a lot of rival fans like to use that against Chivas. Not that time wasting is any better but whatever.

This is going to sound really English of me but, the only reason it's become such a big deal is because Cubo is Mexican and he plays for Chivas. Their are a lot of foreign players who dive week in and week out and there isn't much uproar it's just something that is expected. But unsurprisingly the media is much harsher on Mexican nationals. It's kinda their thing.

Mexican fans in general aren't that great either to be honest. There's a lot of booing and jeering in pretty much every game. A lot of times towards their own team if they aren't playing well. If someone plays especially bad they'll get booed off the field.

It's why the word "Malinchista" gets thrown around a lot when it comes to football.
