Apparently the PS3 is for more 'casual' gamers, so make of that what you will. Although, judging from the cretins that I have encountered while playing online, I wouldn't say there were many 'intellectuals' playing on Xbox

Agreed. I feel that whenever I learn that someone has an Xbox, I expect that he is a laid back, slovenly individual who thinks that he is some sandal wearing, mechanical pencil wielding genius. However, I envision my model PS3 player as someone who fits in readings of Aristotle between each half of a FIFA 12 match.
