Have you read the thread? Even Kryo (who would lick Ronaldo's anus even if it was doused in motor oil) called it "cringe worthy." I mean, I call him an "uber douche" right in the thread title. He's getting no love for this charade.

He thought he was going to get the call, saw that he wasn't going to get the call, then proceeed to act as if he had an eye gouged out. What's funny is that he doesn't get lambasted in the media for this. I heard that the Madrid media barely referenced the incident.

If you do some crap like this in one of the major American sports, you get laughed at and booed (even at home games probably) for the rest of the season, if not the rest of your career. We don't tolerate this shit.

The fact that he was indeed fouled is irrelevant. The missed call is a separate issue. It does not warrant blatant injury simulation. Until they start proactively red carding for stuff like this, players will keep doing it.
