I run a 4222.

Bad formation for russian league

There's only 2 decent CDM's iirc, R Carlos and some 80 russian guy. I played 41212 so I could rotate them. I'd say keep the russian attack, but buy a defence from another league that links up with your midfield and you can have a solid team

And buy McGeady

well with 41212 i could only use 1 CAM.. which sucks. because they have some fun ones. plus 41212 ive always hated.. seems too obvious of a formation.. one-dimensional.

I have the Serbian, Tosic as an LM 4222.. he's been pretty nasty for me. So maybe I can use McGeady doing the same thing.. RM

4222 hasn't been shit for me. Yeah the CDMs you mentioned are my starting CDMs.. but then they have an IF CDM that I have on the bench, along with another shiny Russian 79. with 80s everywhere. But yeah, when your league's 2nd best defender is Samba.. you're fucked.
