I have no affiliation to Perth (other than the fact I like Smeltz) and I believe that they were treated harshly in the match in a majority of major decisions. • pushes an opponent

Miller pushes him in the shoulder, and attempts to kick or trip him, therefore commits a foul which should be given as a direct free kick, it is in the box, so the next step of the laws apply

"A penalty kick is awarded if any of the above ten offences is committed by a player inside his own penalty area, irrespective of the position of the ball, provided it is in play."
