Were you really expecting EA to release 4 football titles within 12 months?

And you wonder why that was all crap
How are people saying this isn't as much a full game as the previous installments of Euro/WC? what exactly would be missing from this to make it a full game, it just incorporates the Euro tournament into the current Fifa game, the only difference from the world cup game to Fifa 10 was the slightly updated game engine and graphics along with the teams (adding the Challange modes & local 4 player Be a Pro). If they don't want to rush a graphics and engine upgrade for Fifa 13 there is no point in putting out the game on a separate disc.
Also, more money "We expect that some fans who may not have FIFA 12 will want to play Euro 2012 and therefore purchase both, but the bigger opportunity for us is to offer our loyal and passionate FIFA fans new content." Guess they think people that didn't buy Fifa 12 are more likely to get it now, cheaper and then also get the Euro DLC, and will make people that already have fifa 12 not feel like they just threw full game money for a game that just adds 30-35 teams ( don't exactly know) and nothing else.

Re: Euro 2012 Game
Well they said the qualification won't be in the DLC. That's like half of it. I guess a DLC is okay if they aren't adding new features. But if made a new full game it would need to have features that are worth it (like they did with the World Cup games).

Re: Euro 2012 Game
The selling point of 2010 WC and co was the upgraded game engine, you were basically purchasing FIFA 10.5
This... you just couldn't get away with releasing Euro 2012 as a seperate game with identical gameplay as FIFA 12, at a price of £40. That really would be EA mugging us off.

Re: Euro 2012 Game
KillHollywood on YouTube made a great point that was exactly what I was thinking. People moan when EA releases a full game and call them money-grabbers, yet when they release it as DLC, people moan that they should be releasing a full version and call EA lazy. There's no winning.

Calling FIFA Street 2 crap is simply blasphemous.

Re: Euro 2012 Game
Will probably get it for the expedition mode. I have found that it costs £15.99, so that $32 here in Australia. Pretty expensive for the lack of teams, but will think about it. If we can buy it with Microsoft Points, ill definitely get it sooner rather then later.
EDIT: A few sites a confirming that 53 national teams will be added on top of what is in FIFA12.

Exactly, it's a shame anyone will buy it, this is content (the teams) that had EA been less lazy, could've been in FIFA 12 already. FIFA10 WC had a ludicrous amount of national teams, and that made it pretty awesome, aside from the much better gameplay aswell.
Playing the African scenarios where it was games like Sudan vs Kenya and shit was cool as fuck

Do they know anything about football?Keanoo wrote:
And let's be honest, taking out the Expedition mode and the online tournament, all it's giving you is an offline tournament, without bothering to include qualifying for it.
So effectively, you can do that without shelling out £15-£20 on this by just creating your own tournament.
I'd rather they did full games. Or at least with a DLC, make something differet about the gameplay. Those 2 mentioned the commentary a few times, even that's practically the same.
