Re: Your footballing bucket list
Why would anybody want to watch a country other than their own win a World Cup?

Re: Your footballing bucket list
1. See us in the Championship.
2. See England win the EUROs or the WC.
I've done everything else I can think of, been to Wembley to see us in the play-offs, seen us lift a trophy, seen us at the Mellenium stadium, been to see England at Wembley, seen Barcelona play at the Nou Camp and been to the Bernabeu.

You think Egypt will realistically win one?

Get to an Old Firm match
Experience an ultra like atmosphere somewhere like Germany or Poland cough Polska.
Stand with the Holmesdale fanatics at Palace.
Go to a World Cup or the Euros and i am hoping to do this in 2016 in France.
See Bury play in a foreign place one day.
Experience an away game with a big following like Leeds.
Go to a game of my European team Ajax.

Re: Your footballing bucket list
I attended the AC v Juve CL final at Old Trafford in the directors box (best possible seats, loads of famous people). U Jelly?
In terms of bucket list, would like to see City lift a trophy live, couldn't get tickets to the FA Cup final. That's it really. Maybe see Messi play, hopefully we draw them in the CL at some point.

It's more realistic than England winning another one.

England would have won the 2010 World Cup if that ghost goal from Frank Lampard had been given.ilJuventino wrote:Ed wrote:some are setting their expectations wayyy too high

???
Worry about your own bucket list. There is no reason you should try and belittle other lists. Bucket Lists are an important moment in people's lives.

A promotion/ relegation system in place in the United States would be awesome but I know that will never happen.

Re: Your footballing bucket list
OK now I will try to make a reasonable list here
Watch at least one game in each UK country and the ROI
Watch the Welsh tean who plays in the city that also is my surname; They are currently in the 2nd tier
see Queen's Park play at Hampton; always wondered what a game with 500 people in a 50,000 seat stadium would be like
hopefullu watch the USA win the world cup or at least at a final
watch one major European final

Re: Your footballing bucket list
Go to a World Cup final.
See a MLS side win the Club World Cup.
The second one is obvious stretch, and ultimately insignificant. Still would be cool

Re: Your footballing bucket list
Well England dont look like getting to a world cup final soon and as for Scotland thats just not going to happen. But i did myself see Scotland beat England 1 nil at Hampden to win the Rous cup and what a day that was, the atmosphere was absolutely electric and i will never forget that day.RubyArmyCTFC wrote:Watch England win the world cup final against Scotland at Hampden Park.
Not sure how likely that is however
