Virgin Internet Problems....

In the last few days, my internet has slowed right down, it is now working at a shocking rate, youtube videos dont load for about 5 minutes, it takes up to a minute to load some pages and doesnt even load the sigs/pictures on the threads in this forum.


It is also awful on other devices such as my PS3 online, so its not my laptop thats the problem, we should be getting 20mb internet but atm it feels about 5mb max.

Anyone else experiencing these problems with Virgin? or am I alone?

I have 50mb internet and its working a bit slower than it should. It usually goes through a slow surge all of a sudden then goes back to normal. Could be for the update they're doing to double everyone's speed. My cousin has slower internet with Virgin but hers is working fine. Try turn it off for a hour and then turn it on.

I'm sure it's still better than our shitty Sky broadband

I tried loading it but there was an error as it couldnt configure the site, must be something to do with my shitty internet atm as thats never happened.

My missus' parents house always has the same problem. Virgin limit you to 1gb download during peak times. If you go over that then they slow you down.

wtf just happened, I repositioned the broadband transmitter thingy jiggy, and it just went a hell of a lot faster youtube videos back to normal and pages loading fine again. Managed to do that connection test thingy got 10 Mbps so still not what we should be getting but I think thats back to normal

Never had any problems with mine, works exceptionally well.

thats my underlying internet problem that I wish not to discuss publicly

Mine's been shit this week as well. Always failing to load pages because the DNS isn't responding or whatever that shit Chrome error message says.

I'm lucky to get more than 2mb.

Why're people complaining about 10 mbps being shite? That's a decent speed.
