Agüero, Van Persie and arguably Ba have been better than him this season, but somehow he seems to have a guaranteed spot in there.

Rooney just shouldn't be in there this time around by the way, but it will be inevitable .

I'm a Spurs fan and Koscielny has been better or on par with all of them this season.

Lol, only Komany has been better if anything, Skrtel and Agger have formed a very strong partnership while Koscienly has done well next to ever changing CBs including Djourou, a Mertesacker who hasn't been accustomed to the English game and an out-of-form Vermaelen. And the other four are surely taking the piss .Billy Davies wrote:Arsenal fans

Rooney has more goals than Ba and Aguero and adds so much to our team, without him we'd be struggling..A lotGegilworld93 wrote:Rooney just shouldn't be in there this time around by the way, but it will be inevitable .

I disagree. Either way Rooney was always going to be in the team.Gegilworld93 wrote:Rooney just shouldn't be in there this time around by the way, but it will be inevitable .

He's been absolutely fantastic this season. Not far off Van Persie.

Probably edges the bottom 4 listed, but he wouldn't get in ahead of the top 3.
Liverpool have been shit but there's no denying that their defence have been brilliant. I think people are just ignoring this purposefully in an attempt to wind Scott up

Also add in the fact he's played well despite having no fullbacks at one point.

Re: Your PL team of the year
I'm not being biased. But Forest has a good point.
Agger and Skrtel have been arguably the best centre back pairing this season(Key word 'arguably'). For a while we had the best defensive record in the Premier League and this was definitely down to Agger and Skrtel.

Re: Your PL team of the year
Yep definitly, Djourou, Vermaelen, Coquelin and Miquel didn't seem to know much about fullback positioning which made the job so much harder for the CBs, also the fact that a Spurs fan agrees with Koscielny being in there says it all really .Point wrote:Gegilworld93 wrote:

No point trying to deny a quality player purely because he's a rivals player.
Koscielny as a single CB has been one of the best in the league. Agger Skrtel partnership has been on of the best in the league.

Seriously, maybe I overreacted a bit, wasn't aware that he scored more than Ba and Agüero but Ba definitly has to be considered as well, I mean Obertan and Gutierrez have been starting most games for Newcastle on the wing while Rooney got great service of Valencia, Nani and also Young at the start of the season, plus playing off Welbeck seems to do him really well.
Agüero has quality players around him too but his qualities on the ball are breathtaking and he also gave more assists than Rooney.
Just saying Rooney shouldn't be the first name on the team like he usually is.

Re: Your PL team of the year
You wasn't aware because if Rooney goes on a run of not scoring, it's in the media, constantly, Ba went on a scoring run and has been average for a long while, Aguero went through a LONG period of doing NOTHING, Rooney has been better than both of them this season, when he's not been scoring he's been playing brilliantly for us still, and your post was ridiculous.Gegilworld93 wrote:Seriously, maybe I overreacted a bit, wasn't aware that he scored more than Ba and Agüero but Ba definitly has to be considered as well, I mean Obertan and Gutierrez have been starting most games for Newcastle on the wing while Rooney got great service of Valencia, Nani and also Young at the start of the season, plus playing off Welbeck seems to do him really well.

Skrtel's looked pretty average since Agger got injured in my opinion maybe Agger makes him look better than he actually is.

Aguero has 24 in 41, Rooney 27 in 33 plus he's played more deep and played central midfield at times. lulz.

Defensively I think Enrique is better, but I'd love Baines at United, get so many goals out of that left foot at a good team.Jordo wrote:kyro7 wrote:Baines is a good call actually.Jordo wrote:Hart; Richards, Skrtel, Kompany, Baines; Modric, Dempsey, Bale, Silva; RVP, Rooney. My team of the year.
