TV Crime Dramas

Which ones are your favourites?
Any that you would recommend?

I'm in the middle of going through all series of The Wire. Excellent so far. The Sopranos is brilliant too. Both worth a watch if you like the gangster sort of crime drama.

Okay, it's just that I'm doing them for film studies, and just wanted to watch a few to get a bit of background knowledge. Don't really know much about them at the minute.

Mad Dogs, Life on mars (sort of), the wire is good not seen a lot of it, Luther.

I watched one episode of Sherlock was pretty good, as was Waking the Dead.
