Turned that off after a minute or so, what was the point? What record was there to set straight? Or did she tell everyone about the birds and the bees?

Re: Chat Thread
We have this book project in English, and we've got a list of books from which we can choose. Only four people can choose the same book, so I want to have 8 choices in case I get the last pick. Has anyone read some of these and can help me pick some?
The books are
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings - Maya Angelou
The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood
Go Tell It on the Mountain - James Baldwin
A Long Way Gone - Ishmael Beah
A Clockwork Orange - Anthony Burgess
The Farming of Bones - Edwidge Danticatt
White Noise - Don Delillo
A Yellow Raft in Blue Water - Michael Dorris
An American Tragedy - Theodore Dreiser
Invisible Man - Ralph Ellison
The Sound and the Fury - William Faulkner
Ordinary People - Judith Guest
Catch 22 - Joseph Heller
The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini
Their Eyes Were Watching God - Zora Neale Hurston
On the Road - Jack Kerouac
Lady Chatterly's Lover - D. H. Lawrence
The Naked and the Dead - Norman Mailer
Kaffir Boy - Mark Mathabane
Song of Solomon - Toni Morrison
Beloved - Toni Morrison
Fallen Angels - William Dean Myers
Lolita - Vladimir Nabakov
The Things They Carried - Thomas O'Brien
Atlas Shrugged - Ayn Rand
Catcher in the Rye - J. D. Salinger
The Jungle - Upton Sinclair
Slaughterhouse Five - Kurt Vonnegut
Cat's Cradle - Kurt Vonnegut
The Colour Purple - Alice Walker
All the King's Men - Robert Penn Warren
Native Son - Richard Wright
I'm thinking of doing The Kite Runner or Catch 22, but I need some backup choices.

Re: Chat Thread
Seeing Fabrice Muamba's face in someone's sig around here makes me realize how ugly he is. I laugh every time I see it now.
I think it's just a bad picture though. Just googled him and he's really not that bad looking.
