Will Mancini be sacked if Man City do not win the title?

We've already seen that City's owners can be hungry for blood when things don't look like they're going to plan, as was shown with Hughes a couple of years ago.

So, will Mancini receive the sack if he does not win the title for City this season? In my opinion, he should go. He's been given all of the riches he wants and needs, he has been up against a Man United side plagued with injuries, and his side had all of the momentum after their victory away to Man United. Now though, their weaknesses have been exposed. Without players like Kompany and Toure they look lost. He had the money to fix that though, and he didn't.

Hughes wasn't their choice and they obviously weren't keen on him whatever he was going to do that season, not to mention some of the shit he wasted City's money on.

Paul Merson says he will definitely be sacked if they don't win the league.. which means he won't be sacked. City's owners seem rather patient compared to other owners.

No unless the higher ups are really stupid Manchester City was much more recently in the Championship than winning the top division.

He instilled a spirit to not give up and seek goals even in the dying minutes, great quality in a manager...

Except there's the small matter of the £200+ million they've spent since then.

Why are so many of you overplaying the significance of that 6-1 win? Well done, he managed to lead his team to one truly great match this season against a ten man United side after spending astronomical amounts in his two and a half seasons at the club. In that time, it seems that he's only going to have won a single trophy despite having more resources than any other manager in the continent. That, for me, is a gigantic failure.
