Not a reliable source but seems to be getting around.

Re: Cassano contract terminated.
That's terrible. How can you argue with player for not wanting to go to a banquet due to him supposedly looking after his pregnant wife.

Re: Cassano contract terminated.
That;s bullshit to me. He's with his pregant wife, instead of going to some stupid awards ceremony. That's normal. Secondly, by terminating his contract, they'd lose around 20 million euros. At least sell him in January.
And lastly, he's arguably their best player, links up well with Pazzini, and is happy at the club.

This is just the cover story. Cassano has been having bullshit with the prez for months.
I hope Wenger signs him up, play him over Arshavin. Sell/Loan Vela.

I really doubt Cassano would move countries. His wife is pregnant, and he probably wants his child brought up in Italy .

Re: Cassano contract terminated.
Playing 1-2 seasons in England won't effect bringing up the child at all.
I never understand why footballers(and ppl in general) say that. I'd understand if the child was like 5 or something, but it would be a baby.

Italians don't move out much anyways, and I see Cassano being the same. For the first time in his playing career, he has settled down (as a person). So I think he might be against the idea of moving to Spain/Germany/England.

Just go to Juventus, they need a good striker there.

I wouldn't really list Cassano as a striker, he's more of a CAM. Like a Del Piero or Totti.

He's good but he's no where near being a world beater, Italians acted like Cassano would have saved Italy like English fans thought Joe Cole would add the needed flair that would progress us

I'd take him at Arsenal anyday, the way he plays now is the way Arshavin played during his time in Zenit and the Euro's. I want that Arshavin back

Now that you mention it ,they do play similarly. But unlike Arshavin, Cassano's best position is behind the striker/strikers. He can still play out wide though.

RVP is made of glass. I used to have hope he would do something great, but no. Got injured again

Re: Cassano contract terminated.
Meh, he is usually only 2-3 months out of the season.
Rather it happens now, and he is kicking ass for the rest of the season.

He won't be kicking ass, just watch. He'll come back and get injured again.

Re: Cassano contract terminated.
I wouldn't want Cassano at Arsenal for two reasons, his wages and he has had issues at EVERY club he has every played at.
He is immensely talented, but too much baggage. I do rate him a lot higher than I rate Arshavin though and he is a lot more sturdy than Van Persie and just about as skilled on the ball.

Re: Cassano contract terminated.
His issues were personal issues with the clubs president or manager though.
And most times he was at clubs with changing manager, where previously he was fine.
I don't think it would be huge problem at Arsenal. The wages though, I agree with. But Wenger did say that he is willing to spend on players this January.

Re: Cassano contract terminated.
Yeah, but go back to ASR and RM where he had Capello both times and the club had plenty of success. He still found a way to have an issue with each club at some level.
