To be fair, Carrick and Nani were certs to start, Scholes has done well at CM most of the time, and Giggs is fresh for this.

I don't have a vendetta against the twins at all, I think Fabio is a very good footballer who will hopefully have a long career at United. I do have a preference for playing Centre Backs at Full Back though, gives us a lot more defensive solidity and threat from set pieces.

He may be a better all-round player, but he's definitely not a better all-round full back.
