Because I don't know.

Kirsten Stewart is a fine young actress. Don't let the bullshit she's forced to do in Twilight put you off. I suggest you watch Adventureland or The Runaways before making such judgements about her acting ability.
Bullshit, I watched that snow white thing she was in and she was terrible in it too.

Come at me, bro.
Let me guess, Prisoner of Azkaban and the last two?
POA was one, the first one is the other, and the last is Goblet of Fire. The last two were decent but had nowhere close to the impact of the books IMO.

He is the forum's residential movie fanatic.
Yet I still beat him in that category on PRICKS.

When has a film ever been better than the book?

The Goblet of Fire? That is honestly one of the worst films I have ever seen.Rei Andros wrote:BladeGunner wrote:

Re: Chat Thread
@Jordo: It's a losing battle for a film to even try to be better than a book. The best a director can hope for is to match its impact. I could argue that LOTR: TFOR is a better movie than it is a book. I'm 156 pages into re-reading the book and they still haven't left The Shire. Tom fucking Bombadil.
@Sean: Don't worry, I loved all the books. I grew up with them, man.
@Glenn: Different strokes I guess.

I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that they all had ridiculous mops of hair.

Re: Chat Thread
- Spoiler:
You know what I can't like about Harry Potter or better yet why I really don't like about Harry Potter? The fact that it takes place in modern times. I mean these mother fuckers are fighting wizards and witches and shit with lightning bolts and shit, but your a wizard, can't you just whip up a motha fuckin' AK and unload on the forces of Evil?
Okay, lets just remove the forces of evil entirely, you then have a typical teenage drama but with teenagers that can do magic. Basically it's Cartoon Networks Tower Prep.

The Sound of Music and The King and I are the only musicals I can actually stand. Everything else I turn off.
When I was over at my aunt's house last year and they asked me to try to watch Mamma Mia!

Yeah I did. I watched the movie about 8 years ago. I just got stuck on the quiz.

A counter attack, if you will.
