Besides, it doesn't work the way you think it does. What would happen if people started posting Child Porn all over this forum? Would it be OK as far as forumotion were concerned as long as we weren't hosting it? What about ATDHE.net, they didn't host anything and the US Government still fucked them, the same with First Row Sports, although they moved to another host.

We're going with Forumotion's terms and conditions here.. So posting porn would force them to shut it down.

And ATDHE and Firstrow have had complaints lodged by major companies who broadcast these events.. One report from James would never be enough to take down a website, especially when there's nothing illegal on here.

End of the day, James' attention seeking isn't going to get this forum closed, but what it might do is force us to be a lot stricter with how it's moderated. I'm sure that's what everyone wants.

Right now it might be. Bet you a month after you begin the crackdown people start moaning about Mods being too strict and how all the fun has been sucked out the forum etc.

A simple solution to all this would be to ban James.

To be fair, we did make the modding a lot stricter. You can't stop a bunch of members talking about a subject though.

They were not abusing the girl on here, they were doing it on their twitter accounts which would be shut down if reported.

It was Mason and Leo, the rest of us just used forum memes.

Maybe a new moderating system should be brought in? Or a range of new mods. Ban all the trolls. Get a bit more proper discussion going on, rather than constant arguing/trolling/racism/religion talk.

As i've said, my aim isn't to shut this place down. It is for it to change, not necessarily stricter but definitely more consistent.

We get more lenient, people calling for others to be banned.

It's a catch 22, we can't win.

I'll also add that you can be certain the moderators that enforce the rules without compromise would fast become hate figures on here.

Edit: before someone says 'well they shouldn't care' but the fact is they are here for enjoyment too. Hardly enjoyable to be slagged off all the time when you're here just for following some simple rules.
