For calling Suarez' actions a disgrace? A shame to the club and its great history? The very thing Liverpool and Suarez has appologised for?

Did he need to get involved? Did he need to add fuel to the fire? Telling us we should get rid of him.
Sorry, forgot, Man United are innocent in all this. It's only Liverpool that have done the talking..

Everything would have been much easier and unavoidable if he had just apologised for being racist about 2 months ago.

That's our first statement on the Racist/Suarez/Liverpool event since the whole thing has started.

Of course he didn't. He has no business talking about it like that. He should have kept his mouth shut, but what he said, and the reasons he gave, is exactly what Liverpool and Suarez apologised for. As a result they more or less legitimised his statement.

Laurencio wrote:His celebration in front of Suarez was childish, but it was in front of the United fans, and not the Liverpool fans. Suarez snubbing the man the world perceives as a victim is considerably worse than Evra acting like a child.
No, he purposefully went up to Suarez and did it right infront of him.
So for me, that's just completely unprofessional and childish...even worse than not shaking someone's hand possibly?

If he did shake his hand in the first place he wouldn't have done that.

Not really. Suarez refusing to shake the perceived victims hand is pretty much a slap in the face of Evra and a refusal to end the entire saga.

Waiting for an apology from Evra for attempting a dangerous tackle on Suarez and very nearly causing a riot at the end of the game .

Fantastic news. This makes all the Liverpool fans saying it was Evra who wouldn't shake hands look really silly. Sillier than usual.

Only he reason he shouldn't have had to apologise is if he actually shook his hand the stupid prick.Dan wrote:Shouldn't have had to apologise.

Why should he shake his hand? Because everyone says he should. He has a right to choose whatever he wants to do.

He should shake Evra's hand especially after he told the club he'd do it.Dan wrote:Danny wrote:Only he reason he shouldn't have had to apologise is if he actually shook his hand the stupid prick.

Re: Luis Suarez: I'm Sorry
This proves that it wasn't Evra who refused his handshake. Of course certain Liverpool fans are quick to defend Suarez in every little thing, even when it's so obvious.
I do want to show my appreciation for Suarez's apology though. It doesn't matter if he meant it or if he was forced to say it. The point is, it was said.

Because he told his manager and the club that he would.

Re: Luis Suarez: I'm Sorry
No, Danny. This whole fucking thing has been blown up. And I actually agree with Neville, with what he said in the studio after the game. 2 players, don't like each other, why should they shake hands? If Suarez doesn't want shake, then he doesn't shake. It's as simple as that. Be honest with me, would you shake someones hand who you thought had stitched you up? I certainly fucking wouldn't.
And again, Evra being the little bitch, makes a scene out of it all, and grabs Suarez' hand and LOOKS straight at the camera? Bit thespian don't you think? Evra knows clearly what he's doing, he's acting up for the cameras and trying to make himself look the victim, ONCE AGAIN.
And again, at the end of the match, celebrating like that in front of Suarez, and the way he was with the crowd. Has he ever done that? After a victory? I think not. Again, he was clearly acting up, and he certainly weren't defusing the situation. It was almost a cry of 'I've won Luis, I'm the better man, look at me, look at me'
Patrice Evra's a very very smart man, I know his sort, and I knew exactly what he was doing yesterday. I could see right through the acting. He played a blinder. He did what he set out to do.

Re: Luis Suarez: I'm Sorry
The little shit should shake his hand because he's told your manager and your club that he will, then he pussied out.
But he's your player, it's alright when he does it.

Suarez told his manager he would shake his hand though, and as a result of that the handshake thing wasn't even supposed to be an issue?

Yet you were unable to see that it was real anger, and that his feelings towards Suarez affected him all game?
