At least they're not rushing into appointing anyone, Pearce is taking temporary charge for the friendly and that's it.

Dave, you're dumb. Pearce is a poor manager, he has proven that for Man City and the England under 21's. He has no tactical knowledge at all and resorts to using hoofball despite having skillfull players like Sturridge in the team. Did you watch any of the last u21 tournament?

Of course England have a chance, England are a good side, there are only 16 teams in the tournament and it is a single elimination knockout tournament after the group stages. Another thing is that besides 3/4 teams, not many of the former powerhouses are all "there" right now. A lot of them are just as bad, if not worse off, than England. With a bit of luck-you never know.
