Never heard of Sound of Music, so ET

Re: Which movie is more iconic?
Yeah, because this is the best demographic to use for a fair experiment. Obviously a lot more people on here will be more familiar with ET than The Sound of Music.

Exactly. That's why ET is more iconic. Most people have heard of ET more.

No, more young people have heard of it. Pose this question to a group of 50-60 year old men and see whether they tell you ET is more iconic than The Sound of Music.

Re: Which movie is more iconic?
The Sound of Music is definitely more iconic. It's obviously an older movie so most people on here probably haven't seen it. But when someone asks me of iconic movies I don't even think of ET.

You are accusing me of being selective with the age group, but you are asking I ask a bunch of baby boomers? They will favor Sound of Music.
Put a picture of the bike in the moon scene and the singing with the mountains in the background, and more people will identify ET.

I was just showing you exactly what you were doing.
I'd put money on you being wrong on that last statement though, as long as the subjects were diverse regarding their age.
