Re: The tennis thread.
Novak serving for the championship, this has been unreal from him, but Rafa should be embarrassed with this ending.

Federer at Djokovic's age coming into Tennis now wouldn't be as good as Novak here in my opinion.Ramalalaharivololona wrote:kyro7 wrote:Has there been a more complete player than Djokovic?

Circumstances have changed significantly since then, conditions suit defensive players. Federer had twice as many Slams as Djokovic does now at the same age

Re: The tennis thread.
Means fuck all, Novak has only really been the player he is now through 2011, I'm talking about this player now.. yeah Federer has been consistently brilliant, but right now I've never seen such a complete player.Ramalalaharivololona wrote:kyro7 wrote:Federer at Djokovic's age coming into Tennis now wouldn't be as good as Novak here in my opinion.

Federer at 24 had been dominating the game for 2-3 years already, destroying just about everyone. If Novak keeps this up for another year or two, then you can compare them.

I'm talking about specific players at their best, not how consistently they've been doing it for.Ramalalaharivololona wrote:Federer at 24 had been dominating the game for 2-3 years already, destroying just about everyone. If Novak keeps this up for another year or two, then you can compare them.

And I said that Federer at Djokovic's age was better than Djokovic is now, and 2005 wasn't even his best year.

And I disagree, you saying about how many years has fuck all to do with what I'm talking about though.Ramalalaharivololona wrote:kyro7 wrote: I'm talking about specific players at their best, not how consistently they've been doing it for.
