no, pass the parcel is a party game, let me explain:

there is a present (the parcel), covered in many layers of wrapping paper. that is passed around the group to music, when the music stops, the person holding the present unwraps one layer, this is repeated till all layers are unwrapped and the person who unwraps the last layer gets to keep the present.
