Why can't both coexist? When you are doing something for God, it doesn't mean you don't care about humanity. The reason God tells you to do something is for your own good and for the good of humanity. God doesn't NEED you to do anything for him.

It's a debate between William Lain Craig and Walter Sinnott-Armstrong.
Both sides are given equal time, and there are some very convincing arguments for both sides, you might want to read it.
