Mal won't be okay with it so it doesn't matter what Jordi seems like (which I doubt anyway). You've been banned from plenty of forums now, maybe you're the one doing something wrong, not them.

Yes. It's actually pretty interesting today. It's really heated.

Re: Chat Thread
I've noticed that the Latino culture puts more emphasis on sexual content. When I watch GolTV, half their ads relate to sex. Is this true or is it just me?

You get the same sorts of infomercials on FSC. The only difference is that they're in English, of course.

Re: Chat Thread
Sexual content is less of a taboo on television that's for sure. Ironic since a lot of Latin American countries are very very Catholic.
That's pretty family friendly to be honest.
I'm no expert but I think it's seen as harmless eye candy, it almost never shows explicit or implied sexual acts.

I always found that pretty funny. You'd think a very religious continent would be very strict on this matter, yet it's one of the most open regions of the world. Heck, homosexuality in Brazil is almost accepted, something America can't say.Ché Guayaba wrote:Sexual content is less of a taboo on television that's for sure. Yeah, Mexico is probably the second biggest Catholic country in the world but gay marriage is legal in places Mexico City mang.
And the transexual sex trade is massive in places like Monterrey, DF and Tijuana. Brings sexual deviants from all over the world mang.
Actually funningy enough, I actually know a handful of gay Catholics. Go figure.

Catholics are better about such things than many Protestant denominations.

I was reading the times today and there were an article that referred to a Pakistani as a Muslim atheist.
I though the times were smart.

Well, as far-fetched as this may sound, he/she may have been referring to Islam as a sort of cultural background, not necessarily a religion, much as the term "Jewish" refers to an ethnicity as much as a religion.

I though about that but it's stupid, they are many types of Muslims in the world and saying a Muslim Atheist just sounds ignorant regardless of how it is meant.
